Make squares of Bucilla "Wool and Shetland Wool," 2 oz balls;
or Bear Brand, Fleisher's or Botany Machine Washable Winsom, 2 oz skeins;
or equivalent

Use Crochet Hook, Size G or size required to obtain gauge

GAUGE: Each Square approximately 8 ins. square

Multiple of 2 ch sts

With A, ch 37 for lower edge.

Row 1–right side–1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, * insert hook in last ch used, yo and draw up a loop, skip next ch, insert hook in next ch, yo and draw up a loop, yo and through all 3 loops on hook, ch 1 *; repeat between *'s to within 1 ch of end, 1 sc in last ch; 17 pats., plus 1 sc each side.

Row 2–Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first sc, * draw up a loop in last st used, skip next st, draw up a loop in next st, yo and through all 3 loops on hook, ch 1 *; repeat between *'s to within 1 st of end, 1 sc in last st; 17 pats., plus 1 sc each side.

Repeat row 2 until 27 rows–about 8 ins. from beg. Fasten off.
