Make squares of Bucilla "Wool and Shetland Wool," 2 oz balls;
or Bear Brand, Fleisher's or Botany Machine Washable Winsom, 2 oz skeins;
or equivalent

Use Crochet Hook, Size G or size required to obtain gauge

GAUGE: Each Square approximately 8 ins. square

Multiple of 4 ch sts

With B, ch 36 for lower edge.

Row 1–right side–Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each re¬maining ch; 34 dc counting turning ch as 1 dc.

Row 2–Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, 1 dc in next dc, * ch 2, skip next 2 dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc; repeat from * across row, working last dc in top of turning ch.

Row 3–Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, 1 dc in next dc, * 2 dc in next ch-2 space, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc; repeat from * across row, working last dc of last repeat in top of turning ch; 34 dc.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 17 rows–about 8 ins. from beg. Fasten off.
