Rows 1,3,5 and 7-right side-K.
Rows 2, 4, 6 and 8-P 1, k 2, * p 5, k 2; repeat from *, end p 1.
Row 9-† * K 1 st wrapping yarn twice around needle, k 2, k 1 st wrapping yarn twice *, k 3 †; repeat between †'s to within 4 sts of end; repeat between *'s once.
Row 10-† * With yarn at front sl 1 st as to p, dropping the extra wrap, k 2, sl next st as to p, dropping the extra wrap k 3; repeat from † to within 4 sts of end; repeat between *'s once.
Row 11-† * With yarn at back, sl 1 st as to p, k 2, with yarn at back, sl 1 st as to p k 3; repeat from † to within 4 sts of end; repeat between *'s once.
Row 12-† * With yarn at front, sl 1 st as to p, k 2, with yarn at front sl 1 st as to p *, k 3; repeat from † to within 4 sts of end; repeat between *'s once.
Row 13-† * sl the first st to hook, hold at front, skip next 2 sts, k into front of 4th st, retain on needle, k the 2 skipped sts, then drop the 4th st from needle, k st from hook *, k 3; repeat from † to within 4 sts of end; repeat between *'s once.
Row 14-Same as Row 2.
Repeat rows 3 to 14 for pat. until 66 rows-about 8 ins. from beg., end on wrong side with pat. row 6. Bind off as to k.
