Row 1-right side-P 1, * yo, p 2 tog., p 6; repeat from * to end.

Rows 2, 4 and 6-* K 7, p 1; repeat from *, end k 1.

Rows 3, 5 and 7-P 1, * k 1, p 7; repeat from * to end.

Row 8-P.

Row 9-P 5, * yo, p 2 tog., p 6; repeat from *, end p 2.

Rows 10, 12 and 14-K 3, * p 1, k 7; repeat from *, end k 5.

Rows 11,13 and 15-P 5, * k 1, p 7; repeat from *,end p 3.

Row 16-P.

Repeat these 16 rows for pat. until 56 rows-about 8 ins. from beg., end on wrong side with pat. row 8. Bind off as to k.
