Thread Colors:
Main color of your choice, white, small bit of black. Also needed 1 candy cane
Crochet Instructions:
Chain 16 and turn, using main color.
Rows 1-19: 1 sc in each st, ch 1 and turn. Fold piece lengthwise and sc edge together to form a tube; break off and fasten. Slip onto candy cane, to position ears.
Ears. Sl st sc into top of curve of candy cane, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, all in the same st; break off and tie ends together; tuck ends. Repeat same for other ear.
Mane. Using white, sl st sc into where you sc sides together, * ch 6, 1 sc in same st, repeat from * up and over the back of neck and between ears. Break off and fasten. Tuck all ends.
Eyes. Using black, embroider eye and 3 eyelashes. Outline under eye with white. Repeat on other side.
No need to spray with finish.
This ornament also makes a wonderful party favor.
LARGE CANDY CANE PONY

Rows 1-25: Using Main color, 1 sc in each st, ch 1 and turn. Fold lengthwise and sc together to form a tube; break off thread and fasten. Slip onto candy cane to position ears.
