Materials Needed
1 Package Seed Beads — Yellow — throat petal (¾ oz. package)
1 Package Seed Beads — dark blue (¾ oz. package)
1 Package Bugle Beads — dark blue (¾ oz. package)
1 Bunch Violet peps — center
1 Package Seed Beads — dark green — leaves (¾ oz. pkg.)
1 Spool #30 gauge bead wire
1 Bunch #18 gauge bare stem wire
1 roll Florist tape — green

STEP ONE — Throat Petal

String 40 yellow beads on wire. Slip 7 beads to within 3" of end of wire. Hold. Make a loop of 13 beads around the 7 beads and twist wire tightly to hold. Make a second loop of 20 beads around the first loop. Twist wire together for stem, Figure 1.

STEP TWO — Small side petals

Repeat the above procedure using the dark blue seed beads. Make 2 petals for each flower.

STEP THREE — Large petals

String 30 dark blue bugle beads on wire. Slip 8 beads to within 3" of the end of the wire. Make a loop and secure. See General Instructions for making loops.

Make second loop around the first using 10 beads. Make a third loop around the second loop using 12 beads, Figure 2.

Fasten together at top of petals with a tiny piece of wire.

STEP FOUR — Assembling Flowers

Tape the 2 large petals to a violet pep. Tape the 2 small blue petals to either side of the pep, having them overlap the large petals slightly.

Lay the yellow petal to the bottom as a throat, over­lapping the blue petals and tape to hold.

STEP FIVE — Leaves

String 70 beads on wire. Slip 16 beads to within 3" of end of wire. Make a loop as shown in General Instructions.

Make a second loop of 24 beads and place around first loop.

Make a third loop of 30 beads and place around second loop as shown in Figure 3. Reinforce top of leaf as shown in General Instructions.

STEP SIX — Assembly Arrangement

Place a #18 gauge bare stem wire on each flower. Place into tiny container, such as a cup and saucer.
