Materials Needed
1 Package Rocaille beads — white petals (¾ oz. packages)
1 Package Rocaille Beads — red sepals (¾ oz. packages)
1 Package Rocaille beads — green leaves (¾ oz. packages)
1 Spool #30 gauge bead wire
1 Bunch #22 gauge bare wire — stems
1 Roll Florist tape — green

STEP ONE — Center

Cut 4" piece of wire. Place one red bead in center of wire and twist wire tightly down one inch. Repeat this same procedure for 6 stamens.

Take the 6 stamens, pull one out, about 1" longer than the others, see Figure 1, and wire or tape to hold together.

STEP TWO — White petals

The petals are made of two loops. String 39 beads on continuous wire.

To make one petal, slip 15 beads to within 3" from the end of the wire. Make a loop as shown in General Instructions.

Slip 24 more beads up against first loop. Make a second loop around the first loop, Figure 2.

Make 4 more petals for each flower. Use the same wire for the 5 petals. Do not cut or break the wire.

Wire these 5 petals around the stamens as tightly as possible. Bend up, which will make them overlap one another.

STEP THREE — Red Sepals

These are 3 loop petals. String 6" of beads on wire. Slip 25 beads to within 3" of the end of the wire. Make a loop. Figure 3. Make a second loop of 35 beads and place around first loop.

Make a third loop of 45 beads and place around the second loop. Figure 4. Shape petals and reinforce ends. See General Instructions. Make 4 sepals for each flower.

STEP FOUR — Assembling Flowers

Tape the four sepals up under flower. Tape down 1". Pull out one wire, cut the rest off. Continue taping the wire. This makes the flower "dangle" and hang.

STEP FIVE — Leaves

String 6" of beads on wire. Slip 13 beads to within 3" of the end of the wire. Make a loop. Make a second loop of 20 beads and place around first loop. Repeat with a third loop of 28 beads. Reinforce top of leaf and shape.

STEP SIX — Assembling of Branch

Tape a flower on the end of a #22 gauge bare wire. Add 2 leaves. Down about 1" add another 2 leaves. Approximately 1½“ further down tape a flower and two leaves. Be sure flower hangs about 1½“ down from the branch. Make as many branches as desired.
