MAXI — about 11" square

You Need: 3 skeins of Color A & 2 of B

Needles: One "Boye" crochet hook Size J and 2 curtain rings

Gauge: 5 sc to 2"

BACK & FLAP: Starting at center with A — ch 26.

Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each of next 23 sc, 3 sc in end sc & mark for flap end of bag, 1 sc in each st along other side of starting chain, end 1 sc in same ch as first 2 sc. Mark beg of rows for bottom of bag.

Row 2: 1 sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc for corner, 1 sc in each sc to flap end, 2 sc in each of the 3 sc, 1 sc in each of next 23 sc, 3 sc in next sc for other corner. Continue around working 3 sc in center of each corner & inc'ing 3 sc evenly spaced around flap end until there are 12 rows from start, end at center of straight edge, sl st in next st, fasten off. With Color B — work 1 more row, inc'ing as before then work 1 more row even. SI st in next st, fasten off.

FRONT: With Color A — ch 4.

Row 1: 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next ch, 6 sc in next ch, along other side of chain work 1 sc in next ch, 3 sc in same ch as first 3 sc. Mark beg of rows.

Row 2: 1 sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 3, 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 2, 3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 3, 3 sc in next, 1 sc in next. Continue around, working 1 sc in each sc & 3 sc in center of each of the 3-sc corners until there are 12 rows from start. With B — work 1 more row inc'ing as before then work 1 row even. SI st in next st, fasten off. With wrong side of bottom edges tog, sl st front to back with Color B.

STRAP: With Color B — ch 5. Starting in 2nd ch from hook, work 1 sc in each ch, ch 1, turn. Work on the 4 sc for 29". Fasten off. Fold lengthwise & sew edges tog. Sew each end to metal ring then sew ring to top of each seam.

MINI — about 5 x 7"

You Need: 1 skein each Colors A & B

Needle: One "Boye" crochet hook Size J and 2 curtain rings

Work same as back of Large Bag for 7 rows. Fasten off. With B — work 1 more row, inc'ing as before then work 1 row even. Fold straight edge up for 5" for front of bag & sl st edges tog.

HANDLE: With B — ch 3, work 1 sc in 2nd ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 2, turn.

Row 2: 1 sc in 2nd sc, ch 2, turn.

Row 3: 1 sc in ch-2 space, ch 2, turn. Repeat Row 3 to 17" from start. Fasten off. Attach to bag same as MAXI.
