Bag Measures 10 1/2" high x 11" wide.

RED HEART® Ltd. "Rag Doll™": 3 Balls No. 5336 Hop.

Knitting Needles: 6mm [US 10].
Crochet Hooks: 6.5mm [US K-10.5] and 3mm [US D-3].

33 7/16" x 3/8" Wood Beads; Bamboo handles 6" wide x 5 1/2" high; yarn needle, cable needle.

GAUGE: 11 sts = 4"; 16 rows = 4" in St st.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS:

PC8F = slip next 4 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, P4, then P4 from cable needle.

KC8F = slip next 4 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, K4, then K4 from cable needle.

FRONT AND BACK (Alike): Cast on 36 sts. Work in pat as follows:

Row 1 (Right Side): K2, P2, K2, P8, K8, P8, K2, P2, K2.

Rows 2 and 4: P2, K2, P2, K8, P8, K8, P2, K2, P2.

Rows 3 and 5: Rep Row 1.

Rows 6, 8, and 10: K2, P2, K10, P8, K10, P2, K2.

Rows 7 and 9: P2, K2, P10, K8, P10, K2, P2.

Row 11: K2, P2, K10, PC8F, K10, P2, K2.

Rows 12 and 14: Rep Row 7.

Rows 13 and 15: Rep Row 6.

Rows 16, 18, and 20: Rep Row 1.

Rows 17 and 19: Rep Row 2.

Row 21: K2, P2, K2, P8, KC8F, P8, K2, P2, K2.

Rows 22 and 24: Rep Row 2.

Rows 23 and 25: Rep Row 1.

Rows 26, 28, and 30: Rep Row 6.

Rows 27 and 29: Rep Row 7.

Rows 31 through 40: Rep Rows 11 through 20.

Row 41: K14, KC8F, K14.

Rows 42 through 44: Knit. Bind off.

Assembly: With wrong sides together and larger crochet hook, attach yarn at upper left side of bag through both layers; ch 1, work one sc through both layers; * draw the loop on the hook up; remove larger hook from loop. Insert smaller hook into one bead and then into the loop; pull the loop through the bead; remove smaller hook from the loop. Insert the larger hook into the loop again, tighten loop comfortably against the bead; work 2 sc through both layers of the bag; rep from * down the side, across the bottom and up the next side end¬ing with 1 sc instead of 2 at the top edge. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Sew handles to bag.
