MODA DEA™ "Burst", Art R114 (1.76 ounce/83 yard) ball: 5 Balls No. 4305 Jungle CA.

TLC® "Amore™", Art.E515 (6 ounce/278 yard skein): 2 Skeins No. 3628 Dk. Thyme CB.

Crochet Hook: 9mm [US M-13].

Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 2 shells = 6"; 4 rows = 3" in pat. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Note: Use one strand each of CA and CB held together throughout as one.

Ch 171.

Row 1 (Right Side): 2 Dc in 3rd ch from hook, * skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 5, skip next 5 ch, sc in next ch, skip next 2 ch **; 5 dc in next ch - shell made; rep from * to last ch, end at **; 3 dc in last ch; turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * ch 5, sc in next ch- 5 sp, ch 5 **, sc in 3rd dc of next shell; rep from * to last st, end at **; sc in top of ch-3; turn.

Row 3: Ch 5, sc in first ch-5 sp, * shell in next sc, sc in next ch-5 sp **, ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp; rep from * to last sc, end at **; ch 2, dc in last sc; turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * ch 5, sc in 3rd dc of next shell, ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp; rep from * across; turn.

Row 5: Ch 3, 2 dc in first sc, * sc in next ch-5 sp, ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp **, shell in next sc; rep from * to last sc, end at **; 3 dc in last sc; turn.

Rows 6 through 29: Rep Rows 2 through 5 six more times. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

FINISHING: Hold piece with last row worked at top and right side facing. Fold in half, measure 15" from fold and mark. Sew from mark to end of long edge.

Fringe: Cut 24" strands of each color. Knot 4 strands, 2 of each color, in ends of each row across short ends.
