MODA DEA™ "Aerie", Art. R108 (1.76 ounce/58 yard ball): 7 Balls No. 9381 Baby Blue.

Circular Knitting Needle: 5.5mm [US 9] - 24". Yarn needle; stitch marker.

GAUGE: 15 sts = 4"; 23 rnds = 4" in St st.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

Length: 18".
Upper Circumference: 38 ½".
Lower Circumference: 47".

Cast on 176 sts. Join for working in the rnd, being careful not to twist sts, and place marker to indi¬cate the beg of the rnd. Slip marker every rnd.

Work in ribbing as follows:

All Rnds: * K2, P2; rep from * around.

Rep the last rnd for 1". Now work in St st (K every rnd) until piece measures 5" from beg.

Shape poncho as follows:

Dec Rnd 1: * K20, K2tog; rep from * around - 168 sts.

Work even in St st until piece measures 9" from beg.

Dec Rnd 2: * K19, K2tog; rep from * around - 160 sts.

Work even in St st until piece measures 12" from beg.

Dec Rnd 3: * K18, K2tog; rep from * around - 152 sts.

Work even in St st until piece measures 15" from beg.

Dec Rnd 4: * K17, K2tog; rep from * around - 144 sts.

Work even until piece measures 18" from beg. Bind off.

Weave in ends.
