HAPPY GIRAFFE
This giraffe is made of one cardboard roller from paper towels, wax paper, or foil. From one end of a roll, cut away cardboard, leaving four legs and a tail. From the other end, cut away, leaving the long neck. Leave some cardboard to fold over to make the giraffe's back. At the very top, cut two small horns standing straight and bend face forward, as shown. Color the giraffe. Use brown for his body, except for the orange spots; use black for his hoofs. Draw eyes and a nose to finish this happy giraffe.
ROLY-POLY ELEPHANT
Cut the body and legs of this elephant from a salt box. Remember his small tail in the back. Cut the head with its trunk and the ears from flat, thin cardboard. Color them. Slide the ears through the slit in the head. Place the head section into slots in the body of the elephant as shown.
