Four Poster Doll Bed

Cut slits at the corners in the bottom of a box, as shown in the small sketch, and put clothespins through these slits. The tops of the bedposts may then be decorated with small paper flowers or the kind of flowers that are used on party cakes. Either kind of ornament is glued on. The outside of the doll bed is painted with a pretty design. The mattress is just a piece of material folded to fit the bed.

If you have no doll small enough for one of these beds, make a doll by painting a face on a clothespin and then wrapping a nightdress around it.
