Collar: 1" wide x 9½" or desired length.
Leash: 50" long

J. & P. Coats® "Crochet Nylon™": 1 tube 16 Natural.

Crochet Hook: 3.5mm (US E-4)
Yarn needle.
1" D-ring.
1" Latch.
1" Snap Buckle.

GAUGE: 16 sc = 4". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the specified gauge.

COLLAR
Row 1: Make a slip knot, working around one end of Snap Buckle, work 4 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 4 sts.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 9½" from beginning.
Fasten off.

Joining D-Ring
Row 1: With wrong side of Collar facing, join yarn 8½" from beginning and work 4 sc across row.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 4 sts.
Repeat Row 2 until working piece measures 1".
Next Row: Insert D-Ring in between 2 layers of Collar pieces. Working through sts of both layers to join, work 4 sc across row.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 11½" or length to fit around neck.
Last Row: Working around opposite end of Snap Buckle, work 4 sc. Fasten off.

LEASH
Row 1: Make a slip knot, working around one end of Latch, work 4 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 4 sts.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 55" from beginning.
Fasten off.

Handle
Fold 5" to wrong side at end of leash to make a loop for handle. Sew through both layers several times to secure.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
