MODA DEA® "Dream™": 15 Ounces (or 8 balls) No. 3439 Cobweb CC.
RED HEART® "Super Saver®": 14 Ounces No. 0305 Aspen Print CA, 9 ounces No. 0661 Frosty Green CB, and 13 ounces No. 0316 Soft White CD.
Crochet Hook: 6mm [US J-10].
Yarn needle.

GAUGE: Square measures 4" x 4". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

MOTIF 1 (Make 41): With CB, ch 3; join with a sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring; join with CC sl st to join.

Rnd 2: With CC, ch 3, 2 dc in first sc, [3 dc in next sc] 5 times; join with CB in top of ch-3 - 18 sts.

Rnd 3: With CB, ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next dc, 2 sc in next dc, [sc in next 2 dc, 2 sc in next dc] 5 times; join with CD - 24 sc.

Rnd 4: With CD, ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, [sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 7 times; join with CA - 32 sc.

Rnd 5: With CA, ch 1, sc in first sc, * hdc in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, hdc in next sc **, sc in next sc; rep from * around, end at **; join in first sc. Fasten off.

MOTIF 2 (Make 82): Work same as Motif 1 EXCEPT change color sequence as follows:

Begin with CA.

Rnd 1: CA.

Rnd 2: CB.

Rnd 3: CA.

Rnd 4: CC.

Rnd 5: CD.

MOTIF 3 (Make 42): Work same as for Motif 1 EXCEPT change color sequence as follows:

Begin with CC.

Rnd 1: CC.

Rnd 2: CA.

Rnd 3: CC.

Rnd 4: CD.

Rnd 5: CC.

FINISHING: Sew squares together in eleven strips, each 15 squares long, as follows beginning at bottom left edge of afghan:

Strips 1, 5, 9: Motif 1, 2, 3, [2, 1, 2, 3] 3 times.

Strips 2, 6, 10: Motif 2, 3, 2, [1, 2, 3, 2] 3 times.

Strips 3, 7, 11: Motif 3, 2, 1, [2, 3, 2, 1] 3 times.

Strips 4 and 8: Motif 2, 1, 2, [3, 2, 1, 2] 3 times.

Sew strips together.

Edging-Rnd 1: With right side facing, attach CB at corner; ch 1, work sc evenly around and work 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Rnd 2: Rep Rnd 1 with CA.

Rnd 3: With wrong side facing, attach CC and rep Rnd 1.

Weave in ends.
