Throw measures approximately 46" x 58".
RED HEART® ''Heathers™'': 54 Ounces No. 4474 Denim.
Crochet Hooks: 6mm [US J-10] and 5mm [US H-8].
Yarn needle.
GAUGE: 12 sts = 4"; 17 rows = 4" in pat with larger hook. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
With larger hook, ch 132.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn - 131 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across; turn.
Work in pat as follows:
Row 1 (Right Side): Ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, dc around the sc below next sc, sc in next 2 sc, * [dc around the sc below next sc] 4 times, sc in next 2 sc, dc around the sc below next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * across; turn.
Row 2 AND EVERYWRONG SIDE ROW:
Ch 1, sc in each st across; turn.
NOTE: Always skip the sc directly behind the fpdc on right side rows.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sc; yo, insert hook from front to back to front around the post of next dc and draw up a lp, [yo and draw through 2 lps on hook] twice - fpdc (front post dc) made; sc in next 2 sc, * fpdc around next 4 dc, sc in next 2 sc, fpdc around next dc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * across; turn.
Row 5-Cable Row: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, fpdc around next dc, sc in next 2 sc; * skip next 2 dc, fpdc around next 2 dc, fpdc around each of last 2 skipped dc - cable made; sc in next 2 sc, fpdc around next dc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * across; turn.
Rows 7 and 9: Rep Row 3.
Row 10: Rep Row 2.
Rep Rows 3-10 until 29 cable rows have been completed, then work Rows 6-9 once more; do not fasten off.
Edging-Rnd 1 (Right Side): Change to smaller hook; ch 1, sc evenly around, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st to first sc; turn.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in each sc around and work 3 dc in each corner st; join with a sl st to top of ch-3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
