Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir occasionally until mixture comes to boil. Boil for 3 minutes and stir to keep it from burning.
Place crackers on a cookie sheet and drizzle with sugar mixture.
Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 5 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, spreading them out as they melt. Sprinkle the nuts on top and gently press into the chocolate. Allow to cool and break into pieces. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
