About 13" square

You Need: 2 skeins each of Medium Dark Gold & Magenta, 1 each of Orange & Kelly Green

Needle: One "Boye" crochet hook Size J

Starting at center of one side with Magenta — ch 3, join with sl st into ring.

Row 1: Ch 3 for first dc, work 2 more dc in ring, * ch 2, 3 dc in ring, repeat from * twice more, ch 2, join to top of ch-3, fasten off.

Row 2: With loop of Gold on hook work 3 dc, ch 2 & 3 dc in any ch-2 space for corner; ch 1, * 3 dc, ch 2 & 3 dc in next space, ch 1, repeat from * twice more, join & fasten off.

Row 3: With loop of Kelly on hook, work a corner in any corner space, * ch 1, 3 dc in next space, ch 1, corner in next space, repeat from * twice, ch 1, 3 dc in next space, ch 1, join & fasten off.

Row 4: With loop of Orange on hook, work corner in any corner, work ch 1 & 3 dc in each space between corners and corner in each corner, join to first corner, fasten off.

Rows 5 through 8: Working 1 row each of Gold, Magenta, Orange, Kelly, repeat Row 4.

Row 9: With Magenta — Work 3 dc in each space & corner in each corner, join & fasten off.

Make other side the same.

GUSSET & HANDLE: With Gold – make 66" chain.

Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook & in each ch, ch 1,turn.

Rows 2, 3 & 4: 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. Fasten off at end of Row 4. Sew short ends tog. Pin in place around 3 sides of bag, starting at center of one side for bottom, between front & back. With gusset toward you, sl st sides to gusset, inserting hook under 2 top loops of gusset & each dc, leave 4th side open for top of bag. Line with felt.
