Fits Sizes 4 to 10

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Columbia-Minerva KNITTING WORSTED (4 oz pull skein) OR NANTUK 4-PLY KNITTING YARN (2 or 4 oz pull skein): 4 ozs
Needles: One "Boye" crochet hook Size "I"

Gauge: 1 mesh and 1 sc to 1 inch

Starting at top ch 51.

Row 1: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 5 ch, * 2 dc in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 6 ch, repeat from * 5 times more — 4 dc. Join with a sl st to top of ch-3 at start. Do not turn.

Row 2: Ch 3, work * 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * 8 times more, work to end — 63 dc, join.

Row 3: * Ch 3, skip 1 dc, 1 sc in next dc, repeat from * around, end ch 3, 1 sc in joining. Mark beg of rows.

Rows 4, 5, & 6: * Ch 4, 1 sc in next loop, repeat from * around.

Row 7: * (Ch 4, 1 sc in next loop) 15 times, ch 4, 1 sc in next sc for an inc, repeat from * once more.

Rows 8 through 20: Repeat Row 4. Fasten off.

Crochet 1 row of sc on top edge.

Fringe: Cut four 16-inch strands.  Fold in half and draw loop through mesh on last row then draw ends through loop and tighten. Repeat fringe in every mesh.
