KNITTED SCARF

Knitted Scarf measures approximately 5" wide by 60" long.

RED HEART® Ltd "Tiki™", Art. E726 (1.76 ounce/162 yard ball): 1 Ball No. 3965 Cheery.

Knitting Needles: One pair 3.75mm [US 5] needles and one 10mm [US 15] needle.

Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 26 stitches = 5"; 15 rows = 3" in pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

With smaller needles, cast on 26 stitches.

Row 1 (Right Side): Knit.

Rows 2-4: Knit.

Row 5: With larger needle, Knit.

Rows 6, 7, 8, 9: With smaller needles, Knit.

Repeat Rows 5-9 until approximately 60" from beginning. Bind off. Weave in ends.

CROCHETED SCARF

Crocheted Scarf measures approximately 4 ½" wide by 78" long.

RED HEART® Ltd "Tiki™", Art. E726 (1.76 ounce/162 yard ball): 1 Ball No. 3961 Aruba.

Crochet Hook: 10mm [US N-15].

Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 9 stitches = 4 ½"; 5 rows = 4" in pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Ch 10 loosely.

Row 1 (Right Side): 2 Dc in 4th ch from hook, [skip next ch; 2 dc in next ch - group made] 3 times; turn - 9 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 2, [work a group in the space between the next two groups] 3 times, work a group between the last group and the ch; turn.

Repeat Row 2 until approximately 78" from beginning. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
