Make squares of Bucilla "Wool and Shetland Wool," 2 oz balls;
or Bear Brand, Fleisher's or Botany Machine Washable Winsom, 2 oz skeins;
or equivalent

Use Crochet Hook, Size G or size required to obtain gauge

GAUGE: Each Square approximately 8 ins. square

Multiple of 5 ch sts

With A, ch 36 for lower edge.

Row 1–right side–Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, * ch 1, skip 4 ch, work 1 dc in next ch, ch 3, sl st in same ch, ch 3, 1 dc in same ch–a petal made; repeat from * 5 times more, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in last ch.

Row 2–Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in first dc, * ch 1, work a petal of 1 dc, ch 3, 1 sl st, ch 3, 1 dc–all in ch 1 between next 2 petals; repeat from * across, end 1 petal in last ch 1, skip dc, 1 dc in top of turning ch.

Repeat row 2 until 18 rows–about 8 ins. from beg.

Final Row–Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first dc, * ch 4, 1 sc in ch 1 between petals; repeat from * across, end ch 2, skip dc, 1 sc in top of turning ch. Fasten off.
