Make squares of Bucilla "Wool and Shetland Wool," 2 oz balls;
or Bear Brand, Fleisher's or Botany Machine Washable Winsom, 2 oz skeins;
or equivalent

Use Crochet Hook, Size G or size required to obtain gauge

GAUGE: Each Square approximately 8 ins. square

With A, ch 35 for lower edge.

Row 1–right side–Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each re¬maining ch; 33 dc counting turning ch as 1 dc.

Row 2–Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in both loops of first dc, 1 sc in front loop of each remaining dc, end 1 sc in top of turning ch; 33 sc.

Row 3–Ch 3, turn, skip first sc, 1 dc in back loop of each sc to within 1 sc of end, 1 dc in both loops of last sc; 33 dc.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 23 rows–about 8 ins. from beg. Fasten off.
