Swiss Chicken with Stuffing

What You Need:

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (11 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (11 oz) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 C chicken broth
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 2 C packaged stuffing mix
  • 1/4 C butter, melted
  • Enough salt and pepper to season chicken

How to Make It:

  1. Use the salt and pepper to season both sides of the chicken breasts.
  2. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Place one slice of Swiss cheese on each piece of chicken.
  4. Pour in the broth.
  5. Place the soups and milk in a mixing bowl and stir well to combine.
  6. Pour into the crock pot.
  7. Add the stuffing mix.
  8. Pour the melted butter over the top of the stuffing m ix being sure to cover it all.
  9. Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

Tip: By pouring the broth directly over the chicken it helps to keep the chicken moist during cooking.
