Make an Airplane from a Paper Envelope

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

This paper airplane is made from an envelope.

First draw the fuselage and wheels as shown at the left, using the closed side of the envelope, then cut out this piece and draw on a door and also the tires.

Now make four small slots in the top edge of the airplane at places marked by the letters A, B, C and D.

The wing is made with the flap of the envelope, and it will fit into two of the slots.

The tail, slipped into the other two slots, is cut from the remaining unused part of the envelope.
