MODA DEA™ "Cache", Art. R118 (1.76 ounce/72 yard ball): 1 Ball No. 2355 Siren.
Crochet Hook: 6mm [US J-10].
Yarn needle.
Optional: pin back, sewing needle and thread.
Make a loop over your fingers with the yarn, leaving a few inches hanging.
Rnd 1: Insert hook into yarn lp, yo and pull lp through; ch 1, (2 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 3 tr) all in yarn lp, ch 3; join with a sl st in first sc. Leave tail of yarn lp hanging to tighten center of rose when done.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, inserting hook from behind the sts and into the yarn lp, sl st between 2 sc, ch 3, sl st between 2 hdc, ch 3, sl st between 2 dc, ch 3, sl st between 2 tr, ch 3, sl st after 3rd tr, ch 3; join with a sl st in first ch-1 - 5 ch-3 lps.
Rnd 3: * (Ch 1, 5 dc, sl st) all in ch-3 lp; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first ch-1 - 5 petals.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, * holding petal toward you and inserting hook from behind the petal, sl st around ch-3 of Rnd 2 between 2nd and 3rd sts of petal, ch 3; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first ch-1 - 5 ch-3 lps.
Rnd 5: * (Ch 1, 7 dc, sl st) all in ch-3 lp; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first ch-1 - 5 petals.
Rnd 6: Rep Rnd 4 EXCEPT sl st around ch-3 of Rnd 4 between 3rd and 4th sts - 5 ch-3 lps.
Rnd 7: * (Ch 1, 9 dc, sl st) all in ch-3 lp; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first ch-1 - 5 petals. Fasten off.
Pull tail to tighten center of rose and secure with a back st. Weave in ends.
Optional: Attach a pin back to back of rose.
