Row 1-right side-K.

Row 2-K 3, * p 6, k 6; repeat from *, end last repeat k 3.

Row 3-P 2, * k 2 tog., k 2, inc. 2 sts as follows:-pick up thread between last and next st, place on left needle-k in back and front of this thread, k 2, SKP, p 4 *; repeat between *'s, end last repeat p 2.

Row 4-K 2, * p 8, k 4; repeat from *, end p 8, k 2.

Row 5-P 1, * k 2 tog., k 2, inc. 1 st as follows:-pick up thread before next st, place on left needle and k in back of thread, k 2, inc. 1 st on thread before next st as before, k 2, SKP, p 2; repeat from *, end last repeat p 1.

Row 6-K 1, * p 10, k 2; repeat from *, end last repeat k 1.

Row 7-* K 2 tog., k 2, inc. 1 st on thread before next st, k 4, inc. 1 st as before, k 2, SKP; repeat from * to end.

Row 8-P.

Repeat these 8 rows for pat. until 55 rows-about 8 ins. from beg., end on right side with pat. row 7. Bind off as to p.
