Row 1-and All Uneven Numbered Rows-wrong side-K 1, * p 5, k 1; repeat from * to end.

Rows 2, 4, 8 and 10-P 1, * k 5, p 1; repeat from * to end.

Row 6-Cable Twist Row-P 1, * sl next 4 sts to hook, hold at back, k next st, sl first st from right end of hook to right needle and with hook at front sl this st to left needle, k 3 sts from hook, k st from left needle-a cable twist-p 1, k 5, p 1 *; repeat between *'s, end last repeat with a cable twist, p 1.

Row 12-P 1, k 5, p 1; repeat between *'s of row 6 to end.

Repeat these 12 rows for pat. until 52 rows-about 8 ins. from beg., end on right side with pat. row 4. Bind off in pat.
