Rows 2, 4, 8 and 10-right side-P 1; * k 4, p 1; repeat from * to end.

Row 6-P 1; * sl next 3 sts to hook, hold at back, k next st, sl 2 sts from point of hook to left needle, hold at front, k next 2 sts, k st from hook-a cable twist-p 1, k 4, p 1; repeat from * to end.

Row 12-P 1; * k 4, p 1, work a cable twist on next 4 sts as before, p 1; repeat from * to end.

Repeat these 12 rows for pat. until 52 rows-about 8 ins., end on right side with pat. row 4. Bind off in pat.
