Row 2-P 1, k 2, * p 8, sl next 2 sts to hook, hold at back, k next 2 sts, k 2 sts from hook; repeat from *, end p 8, k 2, p 1.

Row 4-p 1, * sl 2 sts to hook, hold at front, p next st, k 2 sts from hook, p 6, sl next st to hook, hold at back, k next 2 sts, p 1 st from hook; repeat from *, end p 1.

Rows 5 and 19-K 2, * sl 2, k 6, sl 2, k 2; repeat from * to end.

Row 6-P 2, * sl 2 sts to hook, hold at front, p next st, k 2 sts from hook, p 4, sl 1 st to hook, hold at back, k next 2 sts, p st from hook, p 2; repeat from * to end.

Rows 7 and 17-K 3, * sl 2, k 4; repeat from *, end last repeat k 3.

Row 8-P 3, * sl 2 sts to hook, hold at front, p next st, k 2 sts from hook, p 2, sl 1 st to hook, hold at back, k next 2 sts, p st from hook, p 4; repeat from *, end last repeat p 3.
